So, Where Have I Been?

Have no idea how many months since I posted to Blogger. One day, I tried to log on and nothing happened....Dead. Couldn't figure out how to make it work so I just put it all on the back burner for weeks and then for months. So, tonight I thought, why not start a new blog. A bunch has happened. The Twinkie is finally coming along (pictures to be added). The Jeep project is almost ready. The CJ 2 is all done but it doesn't really fit my needs. I bought a '69 chassis with a Buick V6 Odd Fire engine and a fiber glass body. It had to be built. However, again.....I didn't like the feel of the chassis. Then I found a CJ7 on ebay and bought it without an engine. It turned out to be pretty rusty but all the sheet metal is available and it is all done now. First, Jon, my mechanic, put in the Buick V6. However, he didn't like the sound of it and felt that the bearings were bad. So, he found a Chevy V6 4.3 liter engine. I drove it today. Pictures to follow.
